The Archaeological Museum of Naples has a section that they fondly call 'The Gabinetto'...the toilet. it was previously known as' Pompeii Prohibited'. It is a collection of paintings and statues which gives an insight into sexual practices in the city of Pompeii. The images come from the brothels and houses of Pompeii. They have been restricted in the Museum to viewing by adults of 18+. Small bronze statues also came from the area of Herculaneum.
